Each weekday morning, Maker will post a new project or activity on their Google+ page—30 things to make over six weeks. Each weekday afternoon at 2 PM, tune in to a live Google+ Hangout On Air to meet expert makers who create amazing things.

CAMP FACILITIES:

Creative indoor activities will take place in the school's learning facility, performing arts center, gym and swimming pool. Outdoor adventures will play out on the school's nature trails, playgrounds, soccer field and neighboring park and lake.

CAMP FACILITIES: All camp sessions are held on a college/university campus. Currently we have programs running at the University of Minnesota, University of Houston, and Bryn Mawr.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our camps focus on Lincoln-Douglas and Public Forum Debate at the Minnesota and Bryn Mawr camp sessions. The University of Houston camp session focusses on Texas World Schools Debate, Public Forum, and Lincoln-Douglas.

Our curriculum is carefully designed to ensure every NSD camper receives personalized attention, an active learning environment, and level appropriate lessons--all in a fun, accessible learning environment that celebrates collaboration.

NSD alumni have championed over 500 nationally competitive debate tournaments in the United States and received over 1000 qualifying bids to the Tournament of Champions.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Artistry believes all children should have access to arts education. If you need financial assistance to register for Summer Art Camps, please complete this Scholarship Application Form on our website.

OTHER CAMP INFO: ● Camps will be held outside as much as possible for maximum clean air quality.

● In some cases camp may be relocated to an indoor space. In this scenario we will be utilizing our largest available spaces to host students in order to provide enough space
for social distancing. Indoor spaces will be regularly sanitized and students will be given breaks every hour to allow the air in the room to fully circulate by way of our ventilation system.

● All state, local, and federal guidelines regarding safety protocols will be followed.

● Masking and social distancing will be enforced (other than siblings of the same household attending the same camp, who can/will work in closer quarters).

● Supplies will be handed out to students rather than laid out as a communal resource to
minimize germ interaction. This will include a set of relevant tools that will be theirs to use and care for over the course of the week.

● Hand sanitizer will be available and all surfaces and materials will be cleaned regularly.

● Students staying over the lunch hour will be required to eat outside and maintain a
distance of at least six feet apart while removing their masks to eat.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Active Learning Services, Ltd operates enrichment programs designed to stimulate creative thinking, improve thinking, logic and memory skills and give children "thinking alternatives" to sports camps and other summer programs. Our programs include chess programs and camps thru USA Chess, Our Gamebuilder Video Game Creation Programs and our Active Learning Computer Enrichment Programs.

Our staff is, comprised of the best children's chess instructors in North America! The USA Chess camps are uniquely qualified to cater to the needs of the advanced scholastic player as well as the true beginner. USA Chess hit its first milestone in the summer of 2000 producing the largest chess camp ever held in the United States, with more than 250 students enrolled. What was most surprising, however, was the amount of absolute beginners in attendance - more than 50% of the total enrollment was just starting to play chess. This realization led to the national rollout tour of 100 camps in more than 70 cities. The annual tours have been immensely successful with several thousand campers attending this year alone.

USA Chess thrives on providing a structured environment that is extremely conducive to learning chess. We handpick the best children's chess instructors from all over the United States and bring them to each camp. We believe our team is most effective in teaching chess to children of all ages and levels. The exceptional organization and ever-fun curriculum has fueled much interest from scholastic players and coaches from around the country, prompting them to request USA Chess camps in their areas.

CAMP FACILITIES: A university dormitory on a beautiful and safe campus. Sounds of Hope has no affiliation with the University.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Songs of Hope is an international performing arts experience with participants coming from 12-14 countries. The first three weeks are spent in rehearsals as everyone learns music and dance moves from all the represented countries and cultures. Evenings are spent in cultural learning and sharing -- often through games. The final three weeks are spent performing. All participants have 2-3 roommates from different countries. CAMP FACILITIES: One in-person camp will be held at the Georgetown Public Library in July 2025, located in Sussex County, DE.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Beginner coding skills are taught helping children learn sequencing and terms that grown up coders use everyday to create video games and more. Math and Science activities engage your child in learning and our ARTS program helps students understand how computer artists work in the field.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have modern cabins with 1920's charm and decor. Each camper has her own bed, but campers will share rooms with 2-3 other girls. Adult chaperones (licensed female teachers) have their own bedrooms. Bathrooms are private and a full kitchen is accessible for all. Articulture defines artistic success by effectively making an arts experience educational, engaging and meaningful. Our programming focuses on using the creative process to encourage creative thinking in an open ended approach to arts education.

Brain Chase is a 6-week summer learning challenge disguised as a massive global treasure hunt for 2nd−8th graders. A golden globe has been buried somewhere on earth – and it contains the key to a safe deposit box holding a $10,000 college scholarship fund. CAMP FACILITIES: Gustavus is a residential college campus.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: This Intensive audition workshop aims to bridge the gap between high school and college for students who are serious about pursuing a career in theater performance.

The Audition Boot Camp participants will have the opportunity to work on audition techniques and monologues with master teachers and artists. This intensive weeklong training program takes advantage of its unique location in the Midwest, at the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College and our close proximity to one of the most thriving theater cities in the nation, Minneapolis, home to the world renowned Guthrie Theater.

Classes and individual coachings are led by artists and teachers from the Guthrie Theater and Gustavus� Department of Theatre and Dance. All sessions are conducted in a variety of state-of-the-art facilities which include: a 280 seat trust stage, a black box, two dance studios, and several classrooms. Students will also have access to Gustavus� Folke Bernadotte Library, and its extensive play collection, as well as computer labs throughout the campus.

The highlight of the program is our day at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, where students will have the opportunity to work with various Guthrie artists, tour the facilities and learn about the workings of a major theater organization.

Become a Counselor. Camp Quest North we are always in need of enthusiastic and caring people to be volunteer counselors. As a counselor you will stay in cabins with campers all week, lead and help with activities, and encourage campers to ensure that everyone has an amazing week of camp. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Swift Nature Camp is an overnight nature camp for boys and girls ages 6-15. Our focus is to blend traditional summer camp activities while increasing a child's appreciation for nature, science and the environment.

Our special Discovery Camp is a nurturing program for first-time overnight campers, offering additional staff to provide support and encouragement to overcome homesickness and build confidence. The program welcomes no more than 50 first-time campers, and the special attention that this intimate group receives is the reason that more than 92% of them wish to return.

Swift Nature Camp offers traditional summer camp activities along with an environmental focus. Campers enjoy an active Nature Center, Pet Zoo, and Department of Natural Resources sponsored programs, plus recreational activities that include canoe and backpack trips, horseback riding, swimming, arts & crafts, team courses, archery, sailing, water skiing, tubing and sports.

In addition to these traditional activities, Swift Nature Camp is so much more. We are a child-centered program located away from technology, celebrity culture and academic pressures. Through fun activities and positive staff role models, we help children develop lifelong skills such as confidence, teamwork, leadership, compassion and communication. Our small size allows us to promote each child's personal development by providing fun, friendship and leadership in a supportive and noncompetitive environment. While away from home, children will have the opportunity to act on their own, become self-reliant, and try things for themselves.

Many of our kids return year after year saying that "Swift allows me to be my real self with real people." And we feel that's a good thing!

All of this happens in the fun and sun of the north woods of Wisconsin. For staff and campers alike, Swift Nature Camp is more than just a place to be: it is their summer home. So why not have your child join our summer camp family this summer?

OTHER CAMP INFO: We are most excited by 1st Time Camper Program that is only for children that have never been to summer camp before. This program has only 5 children in a cabin with 2 counselors. Allowing us to give every child loads of attention for their first time away from home.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Trilogy STEM Academy is Minnesota’s only STEM-focused private high school. The founders of Trilogy STEM Academy have over 27 years of combined collegiate teaching experience within various STEM disciplines. With this experience came the awareness of the many gaps within the public school system that prevent students from completing college. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, only 62% of students who attend college actually finish and earn a degree.

Trilogy was co-founded to address and diminish these roadblocks by implementing rigorous curriculum, including up to 12 advance placement courses, giving students the skills needed to be prepared, self-reliant, and confident throughout their college years. Small class sizes and highly qualified faculty ensure students have the guidance and support needed to bridge the gap between the high school experience and college expectations. Trilogy STEM Academy invites all students with interests in science, technology, engineering and mathematics to become part of our learning community.
