CAMP FACILITIES: MODERN FACILITY: Broadway Gymnastic School is a stateof-the-art gymnastics and children’s fitness facility offering all equipment used in the Olympics as well as trampolines, mini tramp, tumble trak, creative obstacle courses and the zip-line (a favorite among our campers). We also have an activity room, lunch room, arts & crafts room, dance studio and free wi-fi.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our spectacular gymnastics and sports camp incorporates exercise and education into a fun-filled day program. Gymnastics is paired with a variety of sports, arts, drama, field trips, and an exciting array of activities captivates all ages until the camper goes home at 12:30 or 3pm. Before and after care is available and can be arranged at registration.

ACTIVITIES/TRIPS: Gymnastics is the foundation of our 2015 fitness day camp activities. Ball sports, swimming, arts and crafts, drama, music and dance round out the curriculum. We are also known for our educational field trips: Kid Concepts, Whale Watching, Sky Zone, Aquarium of the Pacific, California Science Center and Adventureplex.

Dance, music, art and science activities are scheduled throughout the summer. Campers get the chance to try new activities, discover new talents and gain confidence in themselves. Other special themed days include Bring- A-Friend Day, Karaoke, bounce houses, zip-lining, plus Water Days filled with water balloon activities and swimming adventures. CAMP FACILITIES: 24-hour health center, seven resident buildings, a library, computer lab, heated swimming pool, oceanfront recreation center, weight room, gymnasium, chapel, bookstore, canteen, campus store, athletic fields, dining services, and fully equipped classrooms and dormitories. Camp Challenge (Leadership Development Courses):

1. Camp Challenge Four-Week JROTC Leadership Development Program.

This camp is the only credit-producing Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) summer leadership course west of the Mississippi. The course is open to both male and female high school students (entering Grades 9 through 12.) The course consists of a combination of classroom work combined with adventure training activities and will reward successful participants with 180 hours of Leadership Education and Training (LET) Credit.

During the course, participants will develop self-confidence as leaders and as active team members as well as enhance his/her Core Values; Honor, Integrity, Responsibility, Loyalty, and Selfless Service. Additionally, this course is designed to add “Leadership” to Resumes and College Applications.

2. Camp Challenge Two-Week High School Leadership Education and Training.

This two-week leadership camp is designed for both male and female students (entering Grades 9 through 12) who are unable to attend the four-week JROTC Course but who are still interested in achieving a leadership training experience. Camper will choose one of the following electives for their focus: Leadership, Aviation,Computer Science, or ESOL.

3. Camp Challenge Two-Week Middle School Leadership Development Programs (LDP), Basic and Advanced.

LDP Basic is an introduction to leadership for students interested in exploring potential and enhancing existing skills while learning the fundamentals of citizenship. Campers gain invaluable life skills through fun activities and adventure based challenges that reinforce teamwork, accountability, discipline, and respect.

LDP Advanced can be taken after completion of LDP Basic and offers an advanced curriculum in leadership combined with an introduction to subjects that will help prepare campers for high school. This course focuses on the core values of responsibility , loyalty, and selfless service.

4. Camp Challenge Four-Week Middle School Leadership Development Program.

CAMP FACILITIES: The school campus is 27,000 square meters and equips with state-of-art facilities which provide students with comfortable and convenient environment for learning and living. The school library has a collection of 90,000 books that allow students to access it at anytime. Wifi Internet is available throughout every corner of the campus. Sport field occupies a 9,600 square meters area, including outdoor lighted basketball courts, soccer field, tennis courts, rock climbing, etc. It also has an indoor gym of 700 square meters. The dining hall allows 1,200 people having meal at the same time. All the classrooms in GQMMS are equipped with TVs, projectors, laptops and multimedia facilities.

Designed for students age 14-18. It combines a community service project that could earn up to 80 service hours, culture activities, and traveling altogether. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
We are looking for responsible kid friendly camp counselors for our summer 2017 camps.  Imagine taking daily field trips around the Bay Area to all of your favorite places. At Urban Adventure Camps you will get a chance to play hard and work hard, all while experiencing the Bay Area.

Our summer counselors get the opportunity to explore and learn right along side the kids. CAMP FACILITIES: Our 200 acre property contains forest land, a swimming pond, activity fields and hiking trails. We have 14 cabins, a dining hall, meetinghouse and a large community garden attached to our farm lands and orchard.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Summer Camp - Ages 8-14: Campers come for 1 week or two week session (and some for 3, 4, or 5 weeks!) and go on wilderness trips. Each week there are 3 day, 2 night trips to Tahoe, the Sierra Buttes, and/or the Yuba River.

Teen Leadership Camp - Ages 15-16: These exciting programs takes the Summer Camp experience to a whole new level for 15 and 16 year olds: We offer a two-week hiking program, a one-week farming and cooking program, and a two-week bike repair and bike touring program.

Hiking Program (Two weeks): TLCers will spend two days bonding, learning about their trip, and preparing for hiking. They and their trip leaders will then embark on a 10-day backpacking trip along the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). They will then return to camp, and will have two days of closure at the end.

Farming & Cooking Program (One week): TLCers will spend their week working in Woolman's organic garden, learning about farming, plants and the farm to table journeys of the food we eat. They will learn nutrition and cooking skills as they prepare many of their meals with the fruits and vegetables harvested.

CAMP FACILITIES: Students in the overnight camps will be housed in university undergraduate housing, eat in undergraduate cafeterias and have access to university recreational facilities. Commuter students are also welcome at the overnight camps.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: An advanced class for high achieving high school students interested in pursuing a career in medicine or related fields, such as pharmacy, nursing, biomedical research or drug development. Through engaging lectures and hands-on laboratory classes, students learn about normal molecular and cellular biology from PhD-level instructors, and then learn how these normal processes are distorted to cause the development of cancer. AN ENSEMBLE and CONSERVATORY PHILOSOPHY

Both ON BROADWAY and TEENS ON STAGE are ensemble-based programs. During our first weeks together, we will encourage our young actors to collaborate in the creative process together and to appreciate and support one another as persons and performers. We will emphasize the unique importance of each child who is a part of our production, whether they are performing in a lead role or as a member of our ensemble. Because we are a conservatory, in addition to rehearsing and performing in a high caliber production, children participate in every aspect of our production, from costuming, to set-design, to props development.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Levels: There will be four levels at the camp: MathCounts/AMC-8, AMC10/12, AIME, and USAMO.

Curriculum: Each week will be devoted to one of the four main areas. The focus will be on Number Theory and Algebra/Analysis in Period-I and Geometry and Combinatorics in Period-II.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Traditional summer camp activities include campfire programs, carnivals, talent shows, theme dances, camp olympics, kickball, t-ball, softball, dinosaur egg hunts, crafts and specialty classes like cooking, dance classes, soap making, frisbee golf and more. Everything is adapted when necessary to allow anyone with a disability to participate.

Camp-A-Lot was started in 1964, is sponsored by The Arc of San Diego and is accredited by The American Camp Association.

Staff are pre-screened, interviewed, references checked, complete a background check via the FBI, the Department of Justice and the National Sex Offenders Registry, pass a phycial and a drug test prior to being accepted. Staff go through 4 days of intensive training before camp sessions start. Training includes behavior intervention, health & safety procedures, disability awareness and more.

Camp-A-Lot & Camp-a-Little not only provide 5 days of fun, adventure and socialization for our campers, it also gives their families and care-providers a much needed break.

CAMP COUNSELOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Brief Description: Camp counselors at Pali Adventures are responsible for the physical and emotional well-being of campers. They supervise campers in a cabin setting, at mealtimes, and during activities. Counselors are in charge of facilitating activities throughout the day. Counselors work as a team to ensure all campers have a fun and memorable experience at camp. Counselors report directly to their Specialty Director and Group Leader.

QUALIFICATIONS

 Exhibit characteristics of responsibility, dependability, leadership, patience, punctuality, hard work, sense of humor, self-control, integrity, common sense, good judgment and a positive enthusiastic attitude.
 Complete the staff application and interview process.
 Attend staff training (May 30 – June 12) and all in-service trainings.
 Must have completed high school and be a minimum 18 years of age or older as of 5/30/20.
 Desire and ability to work with children.

Staff members are entrusted with the care and safety of young children in a rustic setting replete with natural and man-made dangers. CAMP FACILITIES: Campers sleep in cabins (or if they are really lucky teepees) with a staff member in each cabin or teepee. CAMP FACILITIES: We offer American Red Cross swimming lessons at our pool facilities, bountiful fields, indoor spaces for learning, out door basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and softball fields.

Morning extended care (beginning at 7:30 am) is included at no additional charge for all camps, with affordable afternoon extended care (until 6 p.m.) available for purchase.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our huge facility the "Digital Gym" boasts state of the art equipment, a production studio with a green screen, multiple classrooms with iMacs and projectors, and a 49-seat theatre.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Campers collaborate to create original movies using Mac programs like iMovie, GarageBand, and iStop Motion. Learn how to use a camera and basic filmmaking and lighting techniques. Each week on Friday, the family is invited to come for a screening of the campers videos!

CAMP FACILITIES: Hosted at the real Alpha School San Francisco campus: the same classrooms, labs, and common spaces Alpha School students use during the regular academic year. Purpose-built for personalized AI-powered learning and hands-on workshops.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Alpha Summer in San Francisco is one week inside the real Alpha School. The fastest way to know if Alpha is the school for your family. Grades K-8, running seven consecutive weeks from June 8 through July 24, 2026.

Mornings are personalized, AI-powered academics at exactly your child's level. Two hours of math and reading, mastery-based and adaptive, done by lunch. Alpha uses adaptive AI apps (not chatbots) to meet each student where they are, adjusting in real time. Alpha classes rank nationally in the top 2%, all with just two hours of academics a day.

Afternoons belong to life skills workshops. Depending on age, your child could be publishing a hardcover book with AI, building and training their own AI chatbot, launching a real mobile app, or leading a startup pitch on stage. Each week features two workshops across three dimensions: personal grit, teamwork, and entrepreneurship.

Friday is the showcase. You go home with three deliverables: an NWEA MAP report showing where your child stands nationally in math and reading, a student profile written by their guide based on the week's observations, and a personalized academic plan projecting where your child could go next.

CAMP FACILITIES: River Way Ranch Camp operates as a resort 9 months out of the year when camp is not in session. Campers stay in air-conditioned cabins, and sleep 8 to a room, with two counselors. Cabins are complete with a private bathroom and shower, closest and sink area. River Way Ranch Camp is a beautiful facility, complete with stables, basketball and tennis courts, three pools, an on-site lake, and a high and low ropes course facility.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: River Way campers are divided into divisions. The Buckaroos (ages 7-9) have two counselors with each cabin group at all times. They receive a challenging diversified schedule, teaching them many new skills. Beginning at age 10, Rancheros and Seniors have free choices of activity. Transportation is available by charter bus from Southern and Northern California, as well as airport transportation from Fresno International Airport (FAT).
