BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: The essentials for a super successful 7th, 8th grade experience are discussed and practiced! Topics focus on are engaging in learning, organization, personal identity and power, motivation, bonding to adults, sense of purpose, planning and decision making, resistance skills, peaceful conflict resolution, and a positive outlook. Emphasis is placed on “learn what you stand for before you fall for anything!” This group will include activities, crafts and games that will make this age group laugh, learn, and open up. Informational hand-outs will be sent to parents to further reinforce training at home. Maximum number of superheroes is 8 to allow for personal attention. Campers must be entering 7th or 8th grade.
